Come to the Sr. High Soup Supper held on Wednesday, February 20th from 5-7 p.m.  Support the youth and enjoy the delicious soups!

Next Sunday, after the service, there will be a short congregational meeting where you will have a chance to vote yes or no for the pastoral candidate that was recommended.  You may also write any comments on the ballot which will be reviewed by the consistory for their final vote.  If you are unable to come next Sunday, see Rosemary in the office or Gary Krukow for a ballot.

Our next monthly prayer meeting will be March 4th.

Correction - It was printed in a recent bulletin that Kathy Ackerman was in Parker Place.  She still resides at Elm Springs.  Mary Aswegan is also a resident there. We regret this error.

The Sr. High Youth Group will be collecting cardboard and newspapers, magazines, etc. for a fundraiser.  Please pack these in boxes or sacks and they will be picked up at a later date.

Check out our church website when you get a chance.  Go to and see the new changes.

Allison Little Lambs has a long range goal project of paying off their loan from the RCA.  Right now, the loan balance is $162,750.00.  We are hoping to meet $25,000 or more goal every year until it is paid off.  We recently were designated to receive $2,500.00 from a 2019 America’s Farmers Grow Community grant from Monsanto donated by Jennifer Heeren.  We thank her and Monsanto for this generous gift.  As we thrive to pay the loan off, we have developed a thermometer to keep track of our goals.  We have an anonymous donor that will match the first $1000.00 given to this project.  Maybe you would like to do the same!  Please be in prayer for this worthwhile ministry of our church and our community.

Our first "Ladies night" at Trinity will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Bring a friend and join us as we connect with other Sisters in Christ. It will be an evening of food/fun/fellowship. Please contact Wendy Dralle at 319-239-1808 for more details. All ladies age high school or above are invited to attend. This group will plan to meet every 4 to 6 weeks. Please sign up by Sunday, March 10, 2019.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a ministry that reaches out to anyone at any time through our congregation.  Charlotte Davis has agreed to oversee this ministry. The shawls are located in the south foyer.  We ask that you use the sign-out sheet that is hanging by the shawls.

Are you gifted in leading the community Vacation Bible School held on June 24-27? We are in need of a leader who is organized and is willing to spend a little bit of time with the program. Contact the office or call St. James if you are interested.

Winter is a good time to relax and enjoy a good book. Some new books are in the church library. Check one out today!
