It is the Consistories' desire to respect the beliefs of all members within our congregation regarding the wearing of masks so as to make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification (Romans 14:19). Our wishes are to provide a safe environment, to allow for the fellowship of believers, and to be a positive witness to the church body and community. We need and appreciate the help of all to accomplish this.
The Consistory of Trinity has followed Biblical principles to follow the authority of our leaders as taught by Apostle Paul in Romans 13. Thus we have attempted to establish policies in regards to the coronavirus which are in line with State mandated regulations. As of the week of February 7th the Governor has reduced or lifted many of the previous regulations regarding the gathering of people and the wearing of masks.
- We will encourage mask to be worn when social distancing is not possible (such as the entryway into and out of the church, the hallways, and gathering areas)
- Mask may be removed when social distancing is available (such as with your family in the pew or social distancing elsewhere)
- All events and meetings at the church will follow these guidelines
